# Account settings

Settings holds all your personal preferences and workspace controls. Open it from your profile menu in the top-right corner.

Settings is split into two sections: **Personal** for preferences tied to your account, and **Workspace** for settings of the active workspace.

## Personal

Your personal preferences are tied to your account, not to any specific workspace. They follow you everywhere.

### Profile and security

Click **Account** in the Personal section, then **Manage** to open your account details.

* **Profile**: Update your name, avatar, and email address. You can add multiple emails and choose which one is primary.
* **Connected accounts**: Connect or disconnect sign-in methods like Google.
* **Security**: Review all devices currently signed into your account, and sign out of any you no longer use.

### Appearance

Open the Appearance tab to control how Macaly looks and a few interface preferences.

* **Theme**: Choose Light or Dark.
* **Language**: Pick the language for the Macaly interface (English, Czech, Dutch, French, Bulgarian, or Italian). The agent works in any language regardless of this setting.
* **Enable Logs**: Show server and browser logs in the project preview for debugging.
* **Import from GitHub**: Show the GitHub import action on your home screen.
* **Show tips while Macaly is working**: Display helpful tips while the agent builds or updates your project.

### Behavior

Open the Behavior tab to control how the agent works and how Macaly communicates with you.

* **AI Model**: Choose which model the agent uses. Different models have different speed, capability, and credit costs.
* **Browser Notifications**: Get desktop notifications when Macaly finishes a task or needs your input.
* **Sound Notifications**: Play a sound when the agent completes a task.

## Workspace

Workspace settings are tied to the active workspace, not to your account. They stay with each workspace, so switching workspaces switches these settings too.

The Workspace section includes:

* [Usage & limits](/docs/en/account/usage): See how the workspace's credits are spent across chats and projects, and how much of the monthly limit you've used.
* **Domains**: Manage the custom domains connected to your published projects.
* **API Keys**: Manage the API keys used across your workspace projects.
* **Connections**: Connect messaging apps like WhatsApp to chat with Macaly.
