# Google Tasks

> Create and organize your to-dos in Google Tasks

Macaly connects to Google Tasks so the agent can manage your to-dos for you. Ask it to add a task, check off what's done, or list what's due, or have it pull your Google Tasks into the app you're building.

## What is Google Tasks?

Google Tasks is Google's simple to-do list app, built into Gmail and Calendar. With the Google Tasks integration, Macaly's agent works with your task lists directly: it creates and updates tasks, organizes lists, and brings your to-dos into your project.

## What you can do

A few examples of what the agent can do with Google Tasks:

* **Manage tasks.** Create tasks and subtasks, set due dates, update or complete them, move them between lists, and delete what you don't need.
* **Organize lists.** Create, rename, and delete task lists, and clear completed tasks to keep things tidy.
* **See everything.** List tasks in one list or across all your lists, and look up any task's details.

## How it works

You describe what you want in the chat, and the agent handles the rest. Ask for a one-off task, or have the agent build Google Tasks right into your project.

**Ask the agent directly:**

Add "Email the supplier" to my Google Tasks, due tomorrow, in my
"Work" list.

## Good to know

* **You connect once.** Authorize your Google account the first time, and the agent reuses that connection for later requests.
* **Some actions are permanent.** Deleting a list or clearing completed tasks can't be undone, so the agent confirms with you first.
* **Your account, your control.** The agent only acts when you ask it to, and you can revoke access from your Google Account settings at any time.
