# Todoist

> Manage tasks, projects, and to-do lists in Todoist

Macaly connects to Todoist so the agent can manage your tasks and projects for you. Ask it to add a task, check off what's done, or list what's due, or have it pull your Todoist tasks into the app you're building.

## What is Todoist?

Todoist is a task management app for to-do lists, projects, and reminders. With the Todoist integration, Macaly's agent works with your Todoist account directly: it creates and updates tasks, organizes projects and labels, and brings your tasks into your project.

## What you can do

A few examples of what the agent can do with Todoist:

* **Manage tasks.** Create tasks (including quick natural-language add), update, complete, reopen, move, and reorder them, and filter or list active and completed tasks.
* **Organize projects.** Create projects and sections, archive or delete them, and pull full project data.
* **Use labels and filters.** Create and manage labels, and find tasks with filters and search.
* **Collaborate.** Add comments, invite collaborators to a project, and work across shared workspaces.
* **Track progress.** Pull productivity stats and activity logs to see how work is going.

## How it works

You describe what you want in the chat, and the agent handles the rest. Ask for a one-off task, or have the agent build Todoist right into your project.

**Ask the agent directly:**

## Good to know

* **You connect once.** Authorize your Todoist account the first time, and the agent reuses that connection for later requests.
* **Edits apply to your real account.** The agent creates and completes actual Todoist tasks and projects, so be specific about what you want.
* **Your account, your control.** The agent only acts when you ask it to, and you can revoke access from your Todoist settings at any time.
