Macaly connects to Gmail so the agent can work with your email for you. Ask it to send a reply, search your inbox, or label a thread, or have it pull your Gmail into the app you’re building.

What is Gmail?

Gmail is Google’s email service. With the Gmail integration, Macaly’s agent works with your mailbox directly: it reads and searches your email, sends and replies to messages, organizes threads with labels and filters, and brings email data into your project.

What you can do

A few examples of what the agent can do with Gmail:
  • Send and reply. Send new emails, reply within a thread, forward messages, and prepare drafts.
  • Read and search. Fetch emails and threads, search your mailbox, and pull message content and attachments.
  • Stay organized. Apply and manage labels, create filters, and move messages to trash.
  • Work with contacts. Look up and search your Google contacts.
  • Manage settings. Set a vacation responder, manage send-as aliases, and adjust forwarding.

How it works

You describe what you want in the chat, and the agent handles the rest. Ask for a one-off task, or have the agent build Gmail right into your project. Ask the agent directly:
Or build it into your app:

Good to know

  • You connect once. Authorize your Google account the first time, and the agent reuses that connection for later requests.
  • Destructive actions ask first. Permanently deleting messages, drafts, or labels can’t be undone, so the agent confirms with you before doing it.
  • Your account, your control. The agent only acts when you ask it to, and you can revoke access from your Google Account settings at any time.
