Macaly connects to Google Ads so the agent can manage your advertising for you. Check how campaigns are performing, adjust ad groups, build audience lists, or pull a report, and the agent talks to Google Ads and brings the result back into your project.

What is Google Ads?

Google Ads is Google’s online advertising platform, where you run campaigns across Search, Display, YouTube, and more to reach people who are looking for what you offer. It organizes your advertising into campaigns and ad groups, and reports on how each one performs. With the Google Ads integration, Macaly’s agent works with your Google Ads account directly, so you can monitor and adjust your advertising without switching tools.

What you can do

A few examples of what the agent can do with Google Ads:
  • Monitor campaign performance. Retrieve campaigns by name or ID and check how they’re doing.
  • Manage campaigns. Create, update, or pause campaigns to keep your advertising on track.
  • Adjust ad groups. Create, update, or remove the ad groups inside your campaigns.
  • Build audience lists. Create customer lists and add or remove contacts to target the right people.
  • Run reports. Use Google Ads Query Language (GAQL) to pull exactly the metrics you need.
  • See your accounts. List the Google Ads accounts you have access to.

How it works

You describe what you want in the chat, and the agent handles the rest. Ask for a one-off task, or have the agent build Google Ads right into your project. Ask the agent directly:
Or build it into your app:
1

Connect your Google Ads account

The first time you ask for something that needs Google Ads, the agent prompts you to connect your account. Authorize access once and Macaly reuses the connection for later requests.
2

Describe what you need

Tell the agent what to monitor, change, or report on. Be specific about which campaigns, ad groups, or metrics to use.
3

The agent does the work in Google Ads

The agent runs the action in your Google Ads account and brings the result, a performance report, an updated campaign, or an audience list, back into the chat.

Good to know

  • You connect once. Authorize your Google Ads account the first time, and the agent reuses that connection for later requests.
  • Changes are real. When you ask the agent to pause or update a campaign, it changes your live Google Ads account, so be specific about what you want.
  • Your account, your control. The agent only acts when you ask it to, and you can revoke access from your Google account settings at any time.
