Macaly connects to Google Calendar so the agent can manage your schedule for you. Ask it to create an event, check your availability, or find a free slot, or have it pull your calendar into the app you’re building.

What is Google Calendar?

Google Calendar is Google’s time-management and scheduling service for events, meetings, and reminders. With the Google Calendar integration, Macaly’s agent works with your calendars directly: it creates and updates events, checks availability, and brings your schedule into your project.

What you can do

A few examples of what the agent can do with Google Calendar:
  • Create and update events. Add events (including quick natural-language scheduling), reschedule or edit them, and remove or move them between calendars.
  • Read and search your schedule. List and find events across one or all of your calendars, and look up the details of any event.
  • Find a time that works. Check free and busy slots to schedule around everyone’s availability.
  • Manage calendars. Create new calendars, list the ones you have, and update their settings.
  • Control sharing. Manage who has access to a calendar with access rules.

How it works

You describe what you want in the chat, and the agent handles the rest. Ask for a one-off task, or have the agent build Google Calendar right into your project. Ask the agent directly:
Or build it into your app:

Good to know

  • You connect once. Authorize your Google account the first time, and the agent reuses that connection for later requests.
  • Destructive actions ask first. Clearing a calendar or deleting events can’t be undone, so the agent confirms with you before doing it.
  • Your account, your control. The agent only acts when you ask it to, and you can revoke access from your Google Account settings at any time.
