Macaly connects to Google Meet so the agent can set up meetings and pull their recordings and transcripts for you. Ask it to create a meeting link, fetch a transcript, or list who joined, or have it generate Meet links from the app you’re building.

What is Google Meet?

Google Meet is Google’s video conferencing service for virtual meetings, chat, and screen sharing. With the Google Meet integration, Macaly’s agent works with your meetings directly: it creates meeting spaces, fetches recordings and transcripts, and brings meeting data into your project.

What you can do

A few examples of what the agent can do with Google Meet:
  • Create meeting spaces. Spin up a new Google Meet space (a reusable meeting link), adjust its settings, and end an active conference.
  • Pull recordings. List and fetch recordings from past meetings.
  • Get transcripts. Retrieve full transcripts and individual entries (speaker, time, text) from past meetings.
  • Review who attended. List conference records, participants, and their sessions.
  • Look up meeting details. Fetch the details of a Meet space or a specific conference record.

How it works

You describe what you want in the chat, and the agent handles the rest. Ask for a one-off task, or have the agent build Google Meet right into your project. Ask the agent directly:
Or build it into your app:

Good to know

  • You connect once. Authorize your Google account the first time, and the agent reuses that connection for later requests.
  • Recordings and transcripts must be enabled. They’re only available if recording or transcription was turned on for the meeting, which is a Google Workspace feature.
  • Your account, your control. The agent only acts when you ask it to, and you can revoke access from your Google Account settings at any time.
